It’s not hard to say yes to a gig where you dive with Mantas, Sharks and Dolphins for 6 days. I was commissioned by the diving live-aboard ‘Nautilus Explorer’ to shoot this amazing trip for them in Mexico’s Socorro Islands. The focus was to show what a day in the life aboard this luxury vessel looked like ….. as well as showing off Socorro’s underwater assets. We had an amazing group of 25 guests from around the world and an incredibly attentive crew who made every day flow seamlessly. Can’t wait to return some day ….

It’s always challenging photographing children, but the group we had were amazing and allowed me to get some fantastic shots.

Ian McCausland, working with Relish Design studio, produced the images for the campaign promoting this year’s Festival du Voyageur, a 10 day celebration of French culture in Manitoba. The images capture the enthusiasm with the city for this annual winter festival and raucous celebration that takes place throughout the 10 day festival.

While Ali was home for the Christmas holidays she shot a creative with photographer Kin Chan. As per usual, Lizbell Artists Negar and Deanna worked fantasically with Kin to show off another Lizbell model’s natural beauty. Ali is back in New York and everyone is loving Kin’s work!!!

Here is the latest work from Makeup & Hair Artist Jessica Venturi. Jessica has recently worked on editorials for Glow Mag, Van Mag and cover & features for Alberta Venture Magazine. Her celebrity shoots include beauty shots for Ali Liebert, Mia Kirshner for the L Word, and Erin Karpluk for Being Erica. Jessica did the makeup and hair for the US advertising campaigns for Famous Footwear, the DVD promos for Runners’ Yoga and created all of the tattoo work for the hot 20-something characters featured in the iconic Mentos ‘High Rider’ commercial. Jessica has been a well-known makeup & hair artist in Vancouver for 20 years. Jessica also is now on the other end of the camera, shooting portraiture with her partner in Venturi-Karpa photo.
